Before...
Well, before the holidays, I made a vow to
never complain about being bored.
And I'm not!Instead, I find myself racking my brain for something constructive and useful during the long break.
Bake? I don't want to eat the results and get fat!! Belly dance? =(
lost steam. haaah.
Pottery?
lazy.
Figure out guitar? ugh. Then I'd need to practice!! im just too much of a sloth to do that right now. and and, not forgetting the vow i made to read at least 10 books by the end of the year.
(3 down, 7 more to go, any recommendations?) And now I'm so groggy and grumpy because I stayed up till 4 finishing the amber spyglass, which is btw, one of the
best books I've ever read. And it also happens to be one of the only two books I've cried for after reading. YES, I think it is that good.
If Xiaoyun has her Rob, and WH has his Lyra, Then I'm going to have my Zane. Who i've bet no one's heard of unless they've read the
Uglies/Pretties/Specials/Extras books by
Scott Westerfeld. & in case you're bored at home,
YOU SHOULD READ IT!!! YOU SO SHOULD!! And no, it isn't chic lit. it's a delicate balance between fic/action/and hints of chic lit.
AHHH. but to no avail to the former plans. sighh*
I will think of my holiday plans.
