LAMENTED AT; 2:04 pm
Just two days late.
I had a
spa day yesterday with my mum , JunHo's mum, and sister!
Suuure, we drove all the way to Awana Spa in Subang and paid money to spend the whole day lounging around and eating, but it was so worth it!
A spa's a spa's a spa. So you have your usual jacuzzi, sauna, comfy lounge where they put your legs up and cover them with a towel, and of course, the massage!
The massage room was really freaky. not scary I mean, it had nice japanese music in the background. but what really disturbed me was the
bars on the ceiling. Yeah, BARS. Obvoiusly, they weren't just there for show. In fact, they were the most functional thing there.
and if you haven't already guessed it,
YES. The bars were so that the chinese ladies giving the massages could step on you. So yeah! how many people can proudly say they've lived though the stepping massage?
(btw, there is a specific name for that form of massage, but i just can't think of it right now.) sshh something. x)
I did wonder Though, how the chinese ladies looked standing on us. I mean, there were four of us in the room. I bet if someone were to look from the outside, It'd be really funny. Like how in cartoons when the people getting the massage are often gasping for breath while being stepped on!
And i wondered if the massage ladies gossip about you discreetly to her friends while you have your head face down in the massage bed.
For all you know, they could be talking about how hairy your back is or how many zits you have there. didn't want to think about that.
It was really fun though. It is not at all like tv shows! And surprisingly, it didn't hurt much, The pain was more of the relaxing pain rather than the
"ouchh i am going to die" type. :D

The robes they gave us were really comfy. it even came with disposable underwear! HAHA. I'm so jakun.

The jacuzzi. There were chairs in it. Which i thought was very clever!

The well equipt toilet. x)

The view from the lounge. It was raining...

The lounge. Thats my mother excited over her new mac.
My NABBQ
(Non-Australian-BBQ) was a fun thing too. Admittedly, it was just to make myself feel better about not being able to go. But it turned out well. We all
bonded, and it wasn't really the party party type, but more of the homey catching up with each other type. Something i've really missed this year.
There's only so much fun you can have at a party. but what really turns my mood around is being around people you know you can trust and like you just the way you are. That's what we really need sometimes. Not someone to talk you through your hard times, but just knowing there are people who really care.

Thank you all. =)
