LAMENTED AT; 8:45 pm
30 Hour Famine & Politics.
Literally. I wasn't going to blog about this
(politics) initially but I can't stand it anymore.
First of all.. I realized that I have
stopped reading the newspapers completely. Or I've more or less
given up on following anymore stupid politics where our so called leaders are just using the media to fire at each other like non-stop.
So stupid right? They're acting like 6 year old kids. And the way I see it, right now,
it doesn't matter who sodomized who or who murdered who. Shouldn't they be worried about everything else? because
CLEARLY, it seems to be their more worried about their stupid
'self image' than running our country.
I
can't even say they're
not doing anything to improve the price hike and are doing their best to fight inflation. Their efforts are so
futile and lets face it,
they go around in circles. As they are busy battling it out in the newspapers and blogs, they are actually
killing their own economy and making inflation
WORSE. what with all this political instability, markets have plunged and people who rely on the stocks for bread and butter also suffer.
No one wants to invest in our stock market anymore. Because the factor that in the beginning has made our stock market boom has been blown into bits and pieces by the political feud now taking over the nation. if this continues,
We are not going to be politically stable!!! (heck, we're almost there anyway.)Who cares about
oil prices right? or
fighting inflation? After all,
accusing someone of sodomy and proving
MY innocence is
waaaaaaaay more important than running a country. I
don't need to think about the
millions of people in my country.
I don't give a shit about the poor and the elderly and the people who really need my help.it's all about me.
Geese. it just makes me so mad.
Why bother blogging about this? Why should the newspapers even bother to keep track of where this is all going. maybe if people
stopped publicizing it, Our leaders will get bored and
 divert their attention to
more important issues. And if any of you leaders happen to be reading this,
Please grow up!! Pull yourself together and
reassure us once again that you are capable of
making a difference. After all, isn't this what being a leader is all about?
The famine this time was good.
(Of course, I can only say this now that I'm back home with a plate of biscuits by my side. :P) I have to say that it was somewhat
better than last year's, because there were no long 6 hour talks and running around.
Thank you organizers! And though some people complained a lot, There isn't much you can do about it. It
IS a famine by the way, you are
SUPPOSED to starve.
what's the point of joining if you weren't prepared to suffer?
And the banner was really pretty. props to people who made it work!
Ky,
Grace,
Hui Ee, and
Carmen (sorry if i left out anyone else) for spearheading the pretty-ness, and
everyone for contributing to the mass of hand prints! Will post pictures if and when I find some.
Anyone have a picture of the banner? send it to me, thanks. (:
And one more thing. Don't you just
hate how teachers can be so bitchy to you if they don't like you? seriously lah, just because some of us don't want to suck up
(Not saying the people they like do, some.) doesn't give you the
right to be so darn bitchy on us!
As if you
own the universe and can decide who you want to love and who you don't. I'm just happy most of them don't teach me. I know it's unavoidable, but can't you at least have the
decency to treat all of us the same?
Shall not say more.
I'm so pissed off today. xD
