ChiaSuYen says that..

If you have nothing nice to say, Don't say anything at all. :)

If you got a buck, you should Spend it on food. Duh.

She may be dumb, but she is not stupid.

She has a million things to say but has writer's block most of the time.

Say something cool.

Hello people,
My name is Su-Yen.
Or I could also be Yennie or Yen.
I am seventeen going on a hundred.
I like long walks and country sides.
I like the smell of rain and trees.
This is my blog, Though I'm not sure what it's actually for.
Maybe I want attention. Like yay! x)
No seriously, maybe I do.

LAMENTED AT; 12:09 pm

I'm not gonna write you a love song
'Cause you asked for it
'Cause you need one, you see
I'm not gonna write you a love song
'Cause you tell me it's
Make or breaking this
If you're on your way
I'm not gonna write you to stay
If all you have is leaving I'm gonna need a better
Reason to write you a love song today

=D

Thought of the day?

I've been thinking about what my English Teacher told me a few days ago.

I know it's random! but if I'm still thinking about it after like 3 or 4 days, isn't it worth blogging about? =P Plus I don't really care if it's worth it anyway. It's my blog and I shall say whatever I like. ;D

She said that... Moonlight makes people behave weirdly, or erratically, whatever term you wanna use. Yes.

We were doing lit and were reading 'The Lotus Eater'. Then came the big question.

"Mdm! why do they call it the lotus eater? the story has got nothing to do with a lotus. or a person eating a lotus."

"It's titled so because in Spartan times there used to be a saying that if you ate a lotus, you would become lazy."

Of course none of this made sense till after I read it. The story, for those of you who haven't read it, is about this William dude who loved Capri so much, he gave up his job to live there. He decided the third night of his holiday while taking a walk in the moonlight near the hills. He left his post as a manager in a small bank in London which he thought was boring for an even more mundane life at Capri. He got it all worked out, only 25 years worth of money to live on, and he decided he would kill himself after that.

Then thirteen years later when this random dude came back to visit William, they're old acquaintances btw, and this dude is curious about whether or not William has killed himself. Turns out he tried burning himself to death, but survived and went a bit mad. He lived in a small shed like a wild animal for six years before he died.

"He died overlooking the beautiful hills and mountains he had so loved under a full moon."

I don't know about you, but i think this is just Tragic with a capital T.

I mean seriously. First, you give up your mundane life for a more relaxing mundane life. Then you waste six years of your life going insane and eventually die. But that's not the point.

the point is... The moon does things to you!! It's (according to English teacher) scientifically proven to mess with your brain waves, and make you do stupid things. What if it's true?

Sigh. At times like these I wish I was taking English lit. But oh well... I shall be happy with my addmaths. Plus i don't think I'll live though everyday studying englishlit. Seeing as I get too emotionally attached to stories I read, if they're well written enough. Please la! this story was so short and quite pointless, if you ask me. but what am I doing blogging about it!? point proven. HAHA

I want to drop everything and live on the moon. Float around, and be some kind of particle. In a way, that fantasy is my own little Capri. Maybe it's a sign! i've been spending quite a number of days being depressed about school work and crap, and it may be mundane, but I won't be a lotus eater! I refuse.

So no matter how hard it is, I'm going to stick to my routine. Maybe one day it'll come in handy? But for now i'm going to keep thinking about my very own Capri. Taking long walks in the moonlight by the beach, hearing the roar of the ocean-

In my head.

Okay, now I'm insane. xD

Ohkay, the looong awaited post.

Sorry people! for the lack of updates on my part. I've been busy, as usual, and i figured blogging about school work wouldn't do anyone good. It takes up my homework time and the little free time you all have to blog hop. see, I'm as considerate as usual. =P

First of all, HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN to all the wonderful March Babies. =D

So the highlight of the week was obviously JunChuen's surprise party. YES, it was really awesome. To think that I got freaked out when his mum called my on my phone. @.@ And she's really nice! like petite, bubbly and motherly at the same time. =D So, Picture post!

honors day was in the morning lah. I had to go even though I didn't get my straight A's. (Discrimination!!!!!) The monitor's board members had to go, and if that wasn't enough to pull me in, I had to play in the school ensemble thing. So, cannot miss lah. Oh well, it was fun. Plus they gave away free curry puffs. =D

Gene!

Zhuowei!

back to the Surprise. We spent so long arguing on how to spring it on the birthday boy! In the end we settled for his mum telling him that she had planned a party but all of us couldn't make it last minute. Then we all jumped out from the kitchen counter and drowned him in hugs. ahaha, His expression was Unmissable!

And the best thing is, we didn't have any awkward times when we were shy or whatever. We played silly little party games which made us loose our voices. love you all the K people! (:

Oh yeah, and the theme was HAWAIIAN. So don't blame me that most people didn't dress up like they're supposed to!Hiding...

The 'most shittiest pizza' contest! don't be deceived by the colours! They have traces of orange peel, grape branch, beer, ginger, bitter gourd and peanuts in them. xD
